I'm seeing a lot of good things about the Jebao wavemakers and I'd like to get one either to work alone or with one of the Koralia Evo 1150s I have. I just need help deciding on which one! I'd like something that could work in a 55 but also be used if/when I upgrade to a 75 or 90. (I don't want to go larger than that). I have mostly softies and LPS. The WP25 and RW8 both seem like good options unless I'm missing something... I'd like to order in the next couple days to give my fish a Christmas present!

Between wp and rw I would go with rw. Wider flow, more control, better pump.
Two 8's is more than enough for a 90, especially with softies and lps

Cool. Thanks. Would using the rw8 with the koralia evo1150 (currently running 2 of them) be good or just switch over to two 8s? Wish I knew about jebao 3 years ago when I set up.

That's entirely up to you. 3 pumps is bit more than you need for your set up

Try one out, if you like them get another. I tried one and ended up buying a another.

Just picked up a RW8 from another member. So excited to try it out!

Hi friends.
My tank is 340 liter (120 lenght,50 wide and 60 is height) for lps and soft tank which model is better Rw-8 or Rw-15?
How may need for these wave makers?
Please soon reply because that I want placing order.
Thanks,

I have a single rw15 for softies in this size. It's ok, I'd prefer to have two rw8s I think so you can use the master/slave functions of the pumps. The rw15 is very powerful for a 90 gal us which I think is your tank size.

My 2 8s are coming today. Probably going to run them on an apex program. Had a wp 40 and it was great but died after a year.

On my 50 in running 2 wp10 and 1 wp25. But i keep stones. I am one to overpower and then turn down if needed. I run the 2 10 on the back wall in pulse most of the time, with the 25 across the front in else. Sometimes I switch them all to else or Pulse also, just to change things up..

I honestly, for a nice sized tank such as a 6 foot, would go with the wp40 sized pumps, and 2 of them. You can always turn them down or change the wave of other patterns if you have to much flow for your tastes which is better that not having enough and needing to spend double imho up front..

I have 2..wp60 one on each end of our 150g

And a Wp25 behind my rock work so I don't have dead spots.

I love the controller option on the Jaebo ' s

Im loving the rw8. I have it at about half power and removed both evo1150s. I find this gives me more water movement. I'll probably get a second for whe the rock work gets set back up after my rebuild.

I've got just the one rw8 running on the lowest setting in my 90 right now seems like plenty of motion to me.

Hi,guys.
I have a another question from you,I will buy jebao Rw_8 wave maker but all jebao have a transformer for 100_240 volt?

I don't know. Fish street has different plug options available. You can see if they have the one you want.

I have 2 rw-8s in a 75 and they work great. Thought about going with the gyre but, i spent half the money and it does what i need. It's my understanding that the rw has a wider pattern than the wp with a better controller.
