I'm thinking about buying a Profilux 4e. Does anyone know if my DC 6000 return pump will hook up to 0-10v ports on the controller. If so what cables I'll will need.
I'm currently running a fairly simple set-up, so it won't be a deal breaker if I need to use an outlet on the 6e.

Jebao's currently do not support 0-10v controllability to Apex for return pumps.

Curious as to why you would need to have it be controlled via the (Sorry) Profilux this way?

Bud I’m sorry but we’re not in the Neptune’s forum. This is the ghl forum ( profilux not apex ) this is a simple question that will be easy to answer by someone with profilux experience. Not knocking at all as your point is valid with Neptune’s apex

So sorry. o_O Habit to refer to controllers as Apex. The same applies regardless.
Guess we posted at the same time :)
Is there a reason why we can’t control it via 0-10v port?

Again, so sorry Bud, I am perusing the "New Posts" section, not the Profilux forum. Trying to be helpful. If you don't want to hear that the Jebao is not controllable by any external controller, profilux or other, that is fine. Subtle nuances, bud....

There is no 0-10v port on the DC-6000 unless they just recently changed that Jebao design.

Cool thanks
I don’t run that pump but will look at my dct if it has a port
DCT- does not have 0-10v port either, again, unless they recently changed the design.

Just looked at mine and it’s a dcp but you’re right and it doesn’t have a 0-10v port on it.
Thanks :)

The jebao return pumps, have the electronics in the controller, not at the pump. They are not controllable.

I have a couple Jebao RW8 that have the electronics in the motor, the newer versions it is in the controller. I hacked the controller to add a 0-5v control line, based on a thread by Lasse on his local Swedish forum.

Nice thing is that, on Profilux, you can adjust the 0-10v port to output 0-5v, this is what the rw8 powerheads run on.

The Aqualink A1 allows for 0-10v control on some Jebao series returns (DCS / DCP / DCT IIRC). You'd then need a S-Port & L-Port Breakout Box along with a RJ-45 control cable to cut, either DIY or use something like the gyre interface module ones and chop the stereo jack end off.

If you have an old plain DC return, the simple Jebao module "for Apex" will most likely work as well. They're controller agnostic as long as 0-10v is available.

That should all be correct.

Sorry to dig up and old thread,
I've seen some jebao pumps that have a 0-10v port on the controller has any one used them?.
