I have a jecod DCS 1200 in my Waterbox 25, I got the RFG nozzle for it and it is super weak. I have the pump on full blast and it is barely making a random flow and doesnt really move any water. I switched it back to my stock nozzle all the way up and it was moving TONS of water. But I want the random flows.

Anyone else have this or have a way to remedy it??

I can’t help with the question, but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some assistance

i know this post is couple months old but i recently upgraded one of my tanks to a waterbox 25. I have the same return pump and have the same issue with the VCA RFG. I also went back to the stock nozzle. I also have a 15 gallon JBJ with the dual nozzle RFG and that thing is super strong. The nozzles on that one are the 1/4 and dual as opposed to the 1/2 single i have on the waterbox. I wonder if changing to a single 1/4 or dual 1/4 would be better since it will probably push out water faster with the smaller nozzles

I run the same pump in an IM Nuvo 10. My secret was to get the 1/2" to dual 1/4" Locline Y adapter, then used TWO 1/4" RFGs. The flowrate of that pump is a better match for a pair of 1/4" than a single 1/2" RFG.

Works great for me. Nice random flow from both RFGs, and I can max out the pump without blasting any one spot, since I have it going 2 different directions.
