Hello All...

Just found this reef site, and I am looking frward to meeting new people and sharing information.
I have been in the "Hobby" for over 7 years, took a break for about 1.5 years and have been back with a vengence for the last year.
I consider myself quite knowledgable but ALWAYS willing to learn more.
I am very anal about providing the very best environment for the creatures we keep, and will voice that any time I think there is being a laid back attitude toward our sea water friends.
On the other hand I am a big time ball buster, and enjoy good banter and humor. HUGE Yankee fan, and J.E.T.S. Jets Jets Jets fan.

Please feel free to comment, pm , email whatever if there is anything I might be able to help anyone with.

I am located in Rocester, NY so anyone close is always welcome to swing by, have a "Pop" and talk tank

Here are recent pix of my entire tank... about 97 pix, so have fun.

Welcome to R2R bro! Great to have you here. We are an easy to get along with group! :D

BEAUtiful tank you have!!

so I guess you are leaving the "darkside" huh? I went to school with pennington, wish he was a little bigger with a better shoulder, sure was fun to watch in college tho. Tank looks amazing, and ofcourse, welcome!

In responce to a PM asking for "tank" info here it goes:

Tank is a 120rr plumbed to the basement to a 75 gallon refugium. refugium has about 5 inches of nasty bug filled "mudd" and a constantly growing cheato clump.

Refugium drains into a 40 gallon sump, that houses a ASM G3 skimmer. the return is in sump and is a whoppping great Mag 36.

The lighting on the tank:
3x 250watt 14k MH along with 220 watts VHO actinics, and 2x4ft T-5 460nm actinics. Also run moonlights.

lighing schedule:
vho kick on at 8:45 am, T-5 kick on at 9:30am. center MH kicks on at 12:00pm, and the remaing 2 kick on at 1:45.

The 2 MH(sides) turn off at 6:oopm. the center MH turns off at 7:00pm. The VHO then turn off at 8:oo and the T-5 turn off at 9:15.
this lighting provides a true "dusk to dawn" effect.

The Main tank houses around 200lbs of LR, and a "dusting" of aragonite for effect. Also included are 3 korelia 3's and 2x 1inch seaswirls attatched to my return.

any other questions feel free to ask.
