My apologies if there is a thread covering this. The best I could find was that as the zoox marure they can produce a more "mature color." My JMT Monti, which was one of my first corals has changed colors over the past 7 months. I had it under a Kessil A80 and i put it inder a hydra 26 this week. It has good poly extension and has had good growth. From the research I have done on JMT corals, they typically don't change colors as they grow into a colony.

Here is the before and after. Very different colors!
Any tips on what I can do to get its color back or I'm SOL, which is fine to .

This is what I was expecting it to look like! I will put it lower in my tank! I assumed because its and SPS itbwiuld like higher light. I'll see if that helps! Thanks!

yeah lower light, high flow happy reefing

High light will pale a monti before anything else. That looks more like it got stressed to the point where it shut down and filled itself with algae, hince the brown color. Something wierd defiantly happened that is a very dark color.

It does look like an algae color i just don't know what happened

I am thinking one of your parameters is off for it to change color that much. The Jedi Mind Trick will do well in high or low light.

Here is mine

It was in a 10G but i had it tested every other day for 6 months. Im hoping my larger tank will help
