Is this some kind of jellyfish in my breeding tank?

Is it harmful to clownfish fry?

Gonna be really hard to tell unless you can get a nice clear macro shot but I'd bet on small ctenophores. And yeah depending on how small the fry are they could get eaten

Tagging along to see what the consensus on this is. I'm sure it's tough to get a good photo of one, but that would be the only way for a good ID.

That my friend, is a hydroid medusa. In essence it's the same thing as a jellyfish, a free-floating ball of ouch. Definitely capable of taking out fry. Try getting a filter sock that has a small micron rating to skim them out

I got also rotifer copepod in the tank so I think in need to take out as many as I can by myself now T_T

Is this a fairly new system? In my experience, they kind of faze out after a week or two of a population explosion. After a while they likely won't be there anymore. If I were you, I wouldn't do anything too drastic. Be patient and consistent. They will go away soon.

It’s found in my 30gal breeding tank for clown fish fry. It had been running for two month and I exchange water with my main tank 150 gal system every so often.

Yep. Sounds about the proper time frame to me. Do you currently have fry in it? If there are no fry, wait it out. If there are fry, I would be following sono's advice and start filtering, I have no experience to say whether it will work or not, but it couldn't hurt.

I put in hundreds of fry every 10 day. It’s full of rotifer copepod and isopod now. The jelly seems to be attracted to light so I’ll start removing them myself ha. I thought clown fish have special skin that they are not afraid of stings but maybe I’m wrong ha

I think a nem sting is different than jelly

From what I understood these die out in our system because of lack of food source. But once in a fry tank, small seahorse tank or any that have copious amounts of food source like rotifers they will live...I would do a little research or maybe someone else will chime in.
