Jelly on my acan colony

I seem to have this jelly that is progressing up my acan colony. It started at the bottom and is working its way up. I have dipped it in Medicoral twice now, and the tissue under the jelly blows away.

I got the colony from a friend who had the bottom part in the sand. I cut the bottom part off but the rot is progressing.
