Jellyfish required specialized tanks with circular flow so that they do not settle on the bottom or run into the sides. This can cause their bells to deform, which is very dangerous. It would take a lot of work to turn a normal aquarium into a tank suitable for jellyfish, and you would probably be better off buying a specifically made jelly tank.

Jellyfish are extremely hard to look after, you need tanks designed specifically for them, great water quality, no other animals, and filtration they can’t get sucked into

^This.
You definitely need a specialized system, either made yourself or a commercial one. They also take quite a bit of care and food so are fairly difficult. I've worked with several species and they can take up a lot of time.

To clarify this, MOST jellyfish require specialized tanks with circular flow. The one exception would be Upside Down Jellyfish. People have kept Upside Down Jellyfish in 10 gallon tanks before, but only one or two, and with low flow. Like super low flow. I used to have a page favorited with info on how to keep Upside Down Jellyfish on my old phone, but I guess I would need to search for it again on my current phone. If I find it again I will link it here. Otherwise you could always search the forums or even do a Google search for info.

But any other Jellyfish, like Moon Jellies, would require the specialized tanks. And those can be alot pricier than just a 10 gallon tank.

Thanks everyone! I've learned so much from being on this site I think I'll skip them for now. Glad I asked for opinions
