Sketchy, this exact shroom is in my possession. I bought it a few months ago from another member….

Edit: my mistake wasn’t paid yet, but still sketchy using a pic of a mushroom that isn’t yours. Definitely a red flag!

I felt the same way when he asked me to pay Venmo.

I searched all his posts and did not find any threads of him selling anything that made me feel comfortable trading with this seller. All red flags.. good luck with that bud. I wasn’t born yesterday.

Yeah, someone please look into this for me please because I’m the one that fell for it unfortunately. I used the Purchase protection on Venmo in hopes that it would protect me and the support team said it’s no good which sucks. Lots of weird activity on the Venmo accounts associated with his. I wish the above comments came earlier. Would’ve saved me.

I almost fell for it also. I almost sent but seller pretty much said send venmo in 5 mins or moves onto next person felt very aggressive and sketchy

Sorry to hear that. Not sure what else you can do. Maybe some one that has had the similar situation can chime in.

Paying with paypal attached with your credit card is the only true protection against scammers like this. You get double the protection. Venmo and zelle should only be paid if physically picking up the corals. Just my advice.

Wow, good for all of you! Super Horrible... Never thought to check or be worried on R2R. Guess I need to really look into everyone I buy from. Doesn't R2R only allow secured protected payment? NO Friends and Family etc...?

Thanks for the advice. I knew this already but saw that Venmo now had a protection feature and later found out it only worked for authorized merchants. Still sloppy on my behalf. I will take all the action I can on this.

Very true but it happens sometimes because some people breakdown their tank and need to get rid of their livestock abruptly. I’ve bought a 3” OG for 350 before. But I get what you’re saying and yes it wasn’t a great decision all around on my part. I had my doubts trust me but I took a shot.

Just to keep y’all posted, turns out the first Venmo rep I spoke with gave out the wrong information to me according to the one I spoke with today and I and am able to dispute this given that I used the purchase protection option when sending. Also, I’ve discovered this dummy and his 4-5 Venmo and cash app accounts have been retrieved and being investigated. Reported to law enforcement and IC3 and both have responded quite fast and has found a few leads to location and even names.
