I got a frag in a Battlebox (awesome suprise!). It has a little less green than when I got it a month ago. Nitrate 2ppm, phos .02, alk 7.73, calcium 454, mag 1470. I have it under radion gen 4 pros and it is currently at about 250 par with lots of flow. Any suggestions? Where do those of you with success grow it?
Thanks,
Matt

I keep mine on the bottom of the tank a few inches up off the bottom. Lower light

Got a pic?
Sure but I am the worlds worst coral photographer lol. It has green around the top polyp still, it used to have green around all of the polyps (which do extend during the dark). I have been feeding every other day at dark with either reef frenzy or gonipower). Overall the frag is a purplish brown color.

I was actually asking the other poster as it was mentioned that he kept it at the bottom of the tank just curious how it looked.

Seems to be a really hardy coral. I've had pieces growing anywhere from 180-450PAR, high and medium flow. Have noticed this piece will quickly get upset (color wise) when nutrients change much at all. JME

I can’t keep this one alive. Just gets all ticked and then rtn.

Maybe I'm safest just to not mess with it. I did just raise my nitrates from zero to 2ppm

If find it to be a really hardy coral that will grow anywhere. Right now, I have it just a few inches under the water below a 150w Halide at about 400+ PAR and it thrives.
