What par are you guys feeding it? Mine is at 350, lost color since I got it, came from a tank with very high light.

Currently mine is in 225-250 max. I had a colony in 450+ but I lost it. What’s happening to yours is normal, leave it be and hopefully the colors return. Sometimes they go green after being cut, and stay green for a while. When all you can think about is “the pinks in a HW”, it’s called HW syndrome. Really!

do you attribute the high par to why you lost it? I had my colony around 400 before I lost it. The new one is around 600 par and seems to love it.

I honestly believe it was high par for too long during the day.

My new frag has much better health and coloration down in lower par.

Mine is under
Radion G5 Blues with a slightly modified AB+ mounted in a Aquatic life DX18 fixture with 2 Blue plus and 2 actinic plus.
It about mid level in the tank at 450 par and high flow.

4 x Photon V2+ 48s and 4 x 48” T5 running GE 6500k tubes.

Got to see my buddies colony this morning where I got my frag from. He has the nicest HW I’ve seen, so much pink. His colony is in 500+ par Radion/t5 combo. Took a few pics but on iPhone without filter doesn’t do it any justice.
