I thought id start a thread to track the growth and coloration of my JF Homewrecker frag I recently got. Here is the first picture 24 hours after adding to my system...keeping it low at the moment and slowly will be moving it up to blast zone (500 par). I am currently running a gen2 XR30w and a gen4 XR15w PRO over my IM Nuvo 40 with 2 mp10qds...

Do you have a picture that is more true color? Would love to see that.

Have you seen growth since you received it. Has it settled in
Hi reefland310...I have now had it 2 weeks and just yesterday moved it to it's permanent spot in my tank getting 450-500 par and lots of flow....I have noticed that it has encrusted more since I got it. I'm really excited to have it and see if I can pull the colors that others have....I have heard that it comes with age and 500ish par :)

Can you take a pic without the actinics so I can see more of the natural color

On fence of buying a frag
The home wrecker is one of those corals that looks pretty close to accurate with most of the pictures that you see on the forums. Unlike most things that are heavily photoshopped, the HW does really have all of those colors. There are many threads here on R2R with many pictures under a plethora of lighting conditions if you want to get a good idea of what it looks. Just use the search function. I've seen it a number if times in person and it is a super pretty coral.

Thanks. Definitely doesn't look like that photo. I heard it looked similar, wanted to make comparison. I will search. Thank you
