JF Jolt, what’s your growth experience?

I have a friend who has great experience with SPS. But his JF Jolt has been dramatically slower than everything else. I recently got a Jolt frag and learned of his slow growth issues after I got it.

Just wondering if this is normal for this particular coral to be a slow grower or is this just an anomily?

It's extremely slow for me as well. I did start off with a tiny frag.

I've had mine for about 8mo and it barely has started to encrust and grow upwards. Slowest growing Tenuis IME.

Medium to slow for me. I have yet to see any red polyps though, not sure what you need to do to get those... I'm hoping once it really starts to turn into a little colony those will show up?

Mine is pretty fast. Way faster than my solar flare.
Fresh cut < 1/2” frag in may.

Only thing my frag has done was losing its fire red polyps.

Here's my 3/4" piece I picked up July. In 4-5 months, it has only encrusted about .5". It doesn't help that my urchins took it for a ride a couple times. haha.
