Anybody have any of this? It is starting to become one of my favorite corals. It has that purple/blueish sheen that the Purple Monster has.

I heard a rumor that Jason Fox lost his, so just wondering what everybody else's look like. This is about 300 PAR under 14k Phoenix MH.

Looks gorgeous :-)

Nice I like it. Looks kind of like echinata or granulosa whixh are amoung my favorites. I also like to see someone else still rocking 14k Phoenix MH, sometimes I feel like I the only one left.

Very cool piece. I just started collecting deepwater stuff, I haven't grown much of it out so it should be fun to try a few new things.

New picture tonight, this thing is almost as hard to photograph as HOTO

I need some deep water stuff. I remember this piece from years ago.

I got this colony a week ago and its similar but not the same. I was told its mother of pearl.
Anyway its coloring up and healthy.

I am getting this one Paul, so wish me luck!
Agreed, this one is special, and totally reminds me of my long sought after Dustins Deepwater Acro, which too was thought to be a Simplex.
Off topic, but remember the grafted one back in the day?
It’s very sad to see these go “extinct” in the hobby so quickly. That Dustin’s deep water was an amazing piece.

Lol
Oh man that’s going to be a branchy 20g! Wait… what on earth did you make that skimmer cup with? :o

Lol, The skimmer is just a 2" pvc pipe with fittings. Its air driven.
The cup was all I could find. Still looking for a better cup. Its a 40oz cup.
You can make this out of reg pvc for cheap. Air stone and pump.
For me it works better than any nano skimmer I have tried.
Sits in second chamber of the aio.

I've had this unknown Jason fox acro for over 6 months im not sure what it is but it's starting to grow out a little more, it has a similar purple, but different growth pattern.
