What are your lights? What are your parameters? Do you have other acros? Maybe it’s just adjusting to your tank. Many acros lose color or change color temporarily as they are adapting to a new environment

Thanks, I just thought it may be a common issue like with rainbow Montis. My light is an ap9x turned wayyyyyy down to like 25%. Phosphate runs very low .02 or less. Nitrates run around 2. Alk runs around 8. I don’t really test cal because I dose all for reef to maintain Alk. I have a few other acros all doing well. For example I have bc Aquaticman that I got with the same order and now has the blue growth tips.

I imagine that you meant Jason Fox Solar Flare?

First, are you absolutely sure that it is legit with real lineage back to JF? I am not saying that it is not, or anything, just that lots of people have chased colors and stuff only to have a knock-off piece. It has happened, so always the first question to ask if colors are not perfect. Solar Flare is a common piece, so it probably is legit, but need to ask.

If you are certain that it is legit, then corals tend to green out with higher building blocks that can lead to an abundance of green, and then brown, zoox. If N and P are not too high, then it might just need some time, and sometimes stuff that goes green never turns back to orange, but the new growth has the correct colors.

Millepora (assuming solar flare and not sonic flare) need them some light... have you tested PAR? ap9x is not a super high powered light to begin with, so you be giving it too little, but hard to know without a meter.

Shoot, you’re right my bad. I don’t question it’s the right thing. It came in orange and the seller provided colony pics. I have a tiny tank so the ap9x Is plenty. It’s like 10 inches off the water and the solar flare is maybe 4 inches down. Also, I don’t know that it’s under powered as I have bleached stuff with it.
