Mine is doing very well. I only recieved it less than 4 months ago as a small two eye frag but it has nearly doubled in size and has a nice green rim now. Its still small but eats a lot for its size and is a consistent eater. I think the key is that I got a nice and healthy frag from a solid vendor.
So my parameters, well they have been kinda screwed up since I got it. My new tank is less than 6 months old, I've had, alk spikes, phosphate spikes, calcium spikes, and now magnesium spike. lol. Im an idiot but I have learned from all of these mistakes and they WILL NOT happen again. It has beared with me through it all and looks great, while at the same time a few others are not happy, but most all of my corals look great. I feed every mouth on every coral every other nite, its a pita for real but I rarely miss a nite. Its now eating like crazy and I'm sure it will start to explode soon
I have had other chalices that act like you guys describe but they too are coming around, just took 4-6 months to look ok.
I use ATI PM also, and my PAR is 90 for the T.D., like I said my parameters are anything but stable, but coming around!! Oh yea and I do weekly 40% water changes on my 120g.
here is an old shot of my unique shallow raceway system
hth good luck,
Kris
