JFox Altered Ego Monti - how much PAR?

Does anyone have a Jason Fox Altered Ego monti? If so, how much light are you giving it?

Mine does best w Medium to Lower light and low flow. It was higher up and lost its reddish hue until I moved it down.

Thanks for the feedback - I have tried testing mine in a few different places - everyone says blast it with light and flow but I am not sure that makes the most sense.

I have mine low at about 175 PAR, color is decent, not growing very fast though.

Be will to experiment, don't have alter ego but rainbow phx needed to be moved to get certain colors, assuming you want more than orange

Yeah I have a kung pow as well as a beach bum - from what Jason told me about all three, they are not the same. See email below

I actually just started getting color from moving mine up. I was told from a few, including a close friend to give it as much light as i could to get its colors out. Although i moved it higher to bring the colors out, it appears the shaded areas are the parts that are getting color. Otherwise its growing beautifully for me

Nice! I am keeping mine in medium light for now and hoping for the best ... thanks for the feedback!
