Sorry for the delay there in posts. I was on a field exercise with the army.
So a few new things have happened. I had a local guy give me some free sunny D zoas and a sweet acan.
Unfortunately i lost a few potters angels in a row in QT, and a Kole tang.
On a positive note i have a new healthy Kole and a healthy Sailfin Tang that have made it through copper and are on the last week of QT.
My cyano problem has completely gone away. I am still messing with light intensities.
The other day i fragged my gorgeous bright orange mushroom. They are healing great!
My rose BTA finally found a home! Everything is eating well, growing well, and healthy.
I am a perfectionist and always seem to have upgrades on the mind. I like my black boxes but i want more coral colors to pop so i am saving for a nice set of ecotech radions. I cant wait for those.

Just rambling.
I was sitting there staring at my tank today just like all of us reefers love to do, and it got my mind turning. I have been noticing my corals color changing quite a bit since I went from my HQI bio cube to this LED black box setup in this 75g. I don't know if it is just the lighting that is doing this or if it is a nutrient thing.
I have recently set up my DOS Doser for my Apex Neptune and have a good balance of CA and alk. The corals just looked way healthier under the HQI lighting. So I recently purchased Red Sea Coral Colors ABCD Supplements - 4 Pack nutrient additives that should arrive this week with a test kit. I am gonna do that for a bit to see if i can make them pop again. They just all seem to be losing that brightness, and seem to all have a faded look now.
I think if this doesn't work, I may need to upgrade the lights and will probably push for some eco tech radions, since they are a proven light.
I'll try to post some before and after pics tomorrow so you can see what I mean.

Just a quick shout. I have something new and exciting coming in the mail tomorrow!!! Ill post pics when it arrives! Super stoked!

My next large upgrade that will be coming next week is a lighting upgrade. Yup! Lights are in the mail.
I have 2x Ecotech Radion G3 Pros coming this week with a Reef Link to control them! I decided to keep them off my apex due to certain modes like.. Acclimation mode.. Not being available on Apex. I am super excited as i have heard they will change my tank completely and the corals will love it!

Hey cameron not too much going on right now. I am actually selling the entire system since i am moving to South Korea for 2 years. I plan on doing a fancy nano while im there and when i return i am going 250-300g when i move to vegas. I am excited to do another massive build!! Ill post significant changes and updates!
Good luck with the surgery man! I personally prefer the Hughes 500, awesome little helicopters. I forgot what the army term is for them. little birds?
