Your 29 is great despite the absence of a single Goby. Enjoy it. Isn't that the whole reason for doing this?

it did have a goby... he uhm... tried to fly.. and flew onto the floor 0_o now I have a mesh lid haha

If your interested I use currently red sea for phosphate nitrate and calcium. Hanna checker for alk which I love a lot. So easy to use. I'm going to try out the salifert calcium though and find out if it's easier to read than the red sea calcium kit. I also salifert for my magnesium. I like that kit a lot as well. The red sea nitrate and phosphate kit are really good also

So I figured I'd do a tank update... sorry for the black and gold algae -.- been battling with it for a few weeks now..

I got rid of the two clownfish as they began to destroy my sandbed and even chew on my corals. I got an 1 1/2 inch hippo tang and a splendid dottyback along with a cleaner shrimp and a fire shrimp. The hippo will be moved over to the 55g once it gets a little bigger and the tank matures more. I also added a Tunze ATO and began dosing kalk. I'm soon going to be purchasing a controller but I've yet to make up my mind

As for corals I'm begging to collect them in a frag tank which ill be updating that thread soon. Currently in the frag tank is 2 frags of Valentine's Day Massacre palys with around 5+ polyps per frag, 2 frags of Long Lash Eagle Eye Zoas. I also picked up a baby hellfire shroom. I guess you can say it was a bit of a score as I managed to pick all 5 frags up for $40

I'm also going on a trip this weekend so I'll be picking up a lot of corals while I'm gone.
