First off....Hi, Im new to the site and actually stubbled across here looking for some answers (which were found.....boom). I seen this competition going on and thought well what better time then now to join a great site with huge amounts of info plus a good reason to buy a cube. So after much thought I pulled the trigger on a 27g cube. So I will do my best, and best of luck to the rest of you participating.
I will be putting together this marineland 27 gallon cube tank with a diy twist. I really wanted a solana but just could'nt swing the money so I will be putting in my own internal filter system. I will get pics up as soon as I can I have the tank apart because marineland has let their silicone skills hit the can. So once back together and water tested I will get it up and pics posted. I will be running a ecoxotic led panorama fixture and some stunners to crank up the blues, hoping I can get my hands on a mp10 but doubt it. As far as corals go Im not sure yet I miss my zoa/paly 40B tank but I guess we shall see what I find lurking at the bottom of the tank at my LFS lol.So enough long winded typing I am getting back to finishing my sealing job and get this thing going.

Good luck to everyone.

Looking foward to following along on your build and good luck in the competition :D

Welcome an good luck. You are right about marineland and their silicone work. I saw their new frameless cube and the silicone is the worst I have ever seen on a manufactured tank. I was not confident that it would hold water.

Welcome to R2R and glad to have you in the competition!
