…and customer service, as well as Reefs. Wanted everyone to take a look at some of the stuff Joe sent me this week. He took frags for me from his personal tank, as well as the shop. So, now the secret is out. There is quite a bit hidden in his 300 that you may pry out of him, at the right time. Fortunately for me, he is doing a large project right now that requires some additional funds, so my timing was good!. I’ll let him break that news though.

Anyway, on to the coral shipment.

The only Non-stick was a favia that I apparently get to name. Boy, Joe obviously doesn't know my sensibilities and humor. I'll think about it awhile...

The box came on time and very well packaged, as usual. There were freebie candies and business cards on the top and a couple of JKR Reefapalooza ’15 shirts on the bottom to add to my other JKR shirt. In between was about 10 triple-bagged frags, separated into 3 larger bags(and, of course, a freebie!!). Well marked, no leaks and no surprises is just par for the course with shipments from Joe, as I have had several over the years. This one was a little different though, because it was the first time I just keep adding a frag or 2 every few week for a couple of months. RR Wolverine here, Walt Disney tenuis there, and so on. He was very compliant and helpful during this period.

Because it was Joe, I did my normal acclimation, but a less intense dip than usual. I always dip with Bayer regardless, but am comfortable easing up a little when I really “know†where their coming from.

Next up is pics in the tank...

Moved to vendor feedback, thx

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm glad you're happy with your corals Neil. Now we need to see those "in tank" photos you promised :)

Not the best photography with dirty glass and flow on, but really good color and polyp extension for cross country trip. Here's one or 2 more.

Very pleased with this order!

Great looking order! What's the best way to order these frags from him?

PM him from this site. He will get back to you pretty quick. You can also go to his website and contact him.

Here's a couple of pics of past purchases from Joe. I'm hoping that these new frags turn out as well!

Joe's Rainbow- This is a pic from awhile ago and the colony is bigger now, but this shows the red polyps on the base really well.

Pink Dragon Tails- This is like the stag of smooth-skin deepwaters in my tank now with very long open branches. This is older pic.

Mr. Pacman- This was taken recently under Reefbrites and 1 bank of T5s.
