JOE the coral

Hey I just bought a cool new coral called Joe the coral. I was curious if anyone had a grown out colony???? He's a pretty cool little guy.

Have a mini colony that I got for $20 because it was fragged to hell as you can see. However, it grows FAST with high light, high flow, and elevated levels. Also keeps its colors very well because it's fairly hardy.

I am more interested in that cool purple acro next to it! I a sure there are some massive colonies of joe the coral out there, mine is ok but I don’t have any pics of it.

You know, I also have fast growers for some that are slow growers for me. My Oregon tort frag just got a tiny nano branch out of it after 3 months. Ugh.

I run a Orphek Atlantik 4 v2, huge amounts of flow...

Cal 480, Mg 1480, alk 10.1 to 10.7. I do feed HEAVY and skim wet.

Me too. Most are growing like crazy but I have a few that have done nothing in months.
