got a aquarium fan if I need to use it and I add a clean up crew to help with the algae first time ordering from Reef Cleaners and I have to say everything was great and fast shipping.
The only modification I had to do was instead of using the Y hook up for the lines going to the two nozzles I had to go to a T fitting and also you can’t use the protective grid for the intake it’s to wide to fit but other then that it’s a good upgrade
I attempted to do that but I don’t know if the update is out for the SDC 3 yet I emailed customer service but I’m still waiting on a response back

I am interested to see how you do with growing Chaeto, I also have the Chaetomax light on the back of my 25 lagoon. I have my chaeto in a intank refugium basket and it doesnt seem to be doing anything for me.Today I think I received my last shipment of stuff for the tank equipment wise unless something pops up that would be a good add for the tank but anyways today I got in ChaetoMax 2-In-1 Refugium LED Light, FishGuard AIO Overflow Protector and a AccuDrip Fish and Coral Drip Acclimator this was a random buy but it will be used on other tanks of mine Im excited to start getting fish and coral in this tank and keep this build log going with updates.
This light so far looks like it’s going to do a good job at growing some chaeto I plan on mounting it on the back when I get a chance to get the tank moved away from the wall enoug.
These guards look like they are going to do a great job at keeping small fish out of the intakes
Mine wasn’t doing so good so I took it out until I can get the light on the back side of the tank instead of it being on the top of the tank how do you have your light set up
I have mine on the back glass, I cut a window in the black vinyl and then used the adhesive Velcro it came with to mount on the glass.

No, Its established. the rock is cured for years. and I have a decent bio load. It just seems that the Chaeto just slowly dies. My phosphates and Nitrates are near zero, It might be an issue with not having enough nutrients to sustain it.
It probably is just a nutrient’s issue hopefully you can get some growing in your tank.
No luck, it turned to mush so I pulled it all out.
I have the IM 25 Lagoon and just replaced my IM skimmer to the ESHOPPS nano skimmer and I love it. Its been running for 2 weeks and was pulling junk out on day 2. I haven't done any fine tuning and i am already happy with it. The only complaint I have is that its held on by a magnet so taking the skimmer cup off and on can change the positions so I have to make sure when I put it back on I have positioned it back where I want it.

possibly. a custom egg crate stand would probably be a good idea, in the IM25 the compartment is just big enough for the skimmer so there wouldn't be any worry of tipping over from the weight of the pump on the side.
