Hey just a safety check, you installed proper size conductors from your panel to the receptacle when you changed the circuit breaker correct? Simply installing a larger breaker on a standard 15A branch circuit could lead to a fire

I had an electrician install everything, so I may be off with my actual amp rating? It was over 3 years ago, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

I managed to install the COR20 yesterday, but not without issues. Apparently it came from the factory with the O-ring unseated from the housing. So it took a while to finally figure out the problem with it not starting or calibrating. I also mounted everything on the equipment board, but soon ran out of space. I may create a rack under the stand for the power bricks, but the 3D printed racks are doing the job so far. Cyano patches are scattered around, just trying to figure out if I want to use chemiclean or so a double dose of prodibio? Also considering witch hazel, prodibio combo too.
I added this little guy today from the observation tank, hopefully he'll add a little extra life to the tank? He's already out and about, might consider adding a couple more?

I really need to frag my lime in the sky and A. florida, which is aggressively moving in on my deep red milli.
I'm glad to finally get rid of the reeflink and ecosmart live, but I'll hang on to the Vectra M1 as a backup for now.

They use it for TN issues and found that it helps with cyano in some cases. I'm trying to use prodibio to take care of mine, but I'm considering using witch hazel in a smaller dose to see if it helps?

Been crazy busy with work, so I haven't been able to keep up with some things on the tank. I received my latest ICP test, tin is coming down, but copper showed up out of nowhere, but I think I know where it came from. Two cheap powerheads in my sump, so I pulled them and dropped in some polyfilter and I'll pick up some cuprisorb tomorrow. My nitrates dropped pretty low, which would account for the pale color one of my tenuis is showing, hopefully it's not too late? I'm doubling my nitrate dosing, so I'm going to try and up them to 5ppm over the course of a week or so. Currently sitting at .5ppm. Tomorrow I'll make my corrections with the shine and see how it goes? I might do a water change to help lower the copper?

I haven't had time to look yet, but will next week. They are thin film resistors, but I don't know the values. I need to look at the others to see if they used different values based on the circuit.

Mystic sunset and grafted montis are the first space hogs to go. I forget the name of this last monti, but hopefully I can break it up in three large clean chunks and sell them off asap? It's a cool piece, but I'm going to get rid of all the montis I have. I also have a colony of forest fire that has to go and a leng sy cap that I'm going to break up and probably give away to some locals?
After that, I need to relocate my A. florida, it's just too aggressive and killing my deep purple milli that I absolutely love.

This pic kills me. I have a habit of placing sps too close to each other, but it's that natural layering of corals I love so much, but this milli has suffered enough. I hate to cut up the florida (super bright green) but it's gotta move. Then I'll continue to clear up the sand bed and sell all the unwanted sps. Then I need to start going after the aiptasia and vermitid snails, ugh!

One more pic of the A. florida before I remove it from this spot and relocate it to another, safer spot. I just hope my purple milli survives until then? The two frags that I took from it didn't do well, with one of them completely TN'ing on me and the other is starting to follow. Ugh!

Just a quick evening feeding top down pic. Too many things to mention in a quick update, so it'll have to wait until I get some spare time.

So I was curious about the difference between clear mesh and black mesh on my lid and borrowed a par meter from a friend (apogee 510) and began to test. I've read others saying that black mesh reduced par by up to 40% or some crazy amount like that, but that simply wasn't the case here. Fortunately I still have my old lid with clear mesh and my main lid with black mesh to do some real world testing. The difference between having a mesh lid and no lid was a difference of 60 to 70 par on average. The difference between black and clear mesh was an average of about 20 par or so.

Here's with the black mesh. It jumped between 290 and 310, give or take 5 or so on either side.

Here's the clear mesh. The range was 297 to 338, but it stayed in the high 320's to 332 shown here.

Here's no mesh at all. It ranged from 355 to 409, but it was staying around 380 for the most part.
There was a difference between clear and black mesh, but not as dramatic as I've read. I'll be putting the clear mesh back in to gain a little more light efficiency, but I like the look of the black mesh better, as it produces less glare from the lights.
I'll try to use my Seneye before I make the swap to see if the measurements are similar?

Another victim of neighborhood warfare. I think being surrounded by other corals/sps and not taking its vitamins has resulted in this TN? I'll try to frag off the dead parts and see what happens, but I'm sure this is what did my purple milli in?
Meanwhile, my clams are back in the main tank and seem to be happy.
