The purpose of this thread is to explain the steps you need to follow to Join the Club... By all means please feel free to post here or attend local meetings without joining. This is just to help clear up a lot of confusion.

Joining the club benefits in the following ways:

• Free Table at our local frag swap
• Entry into door prizes at local meetings
• Use of club equipment (PAR Meter, Phosphate Hanna Meter, Tile Bansaw for Fragging, etc)
• Participation in Group Buys
• Access to the local Private Forums
• And Much More

Steps to Join:

1) Pay Dues This can be done 1 of 2 methods.

1) Join the Club this is a paypal link for 21$ charge through paypal and is instant.

2) Bring 20$ to the next club meeting.​

We meet at local club members homes. Usually in the chattanooga, north georgia area. We would love to have you come to a meeting, we just posted a date for our may meeting on may 10th.

i may have to do that... do we bring frags to trade out or just to discuss different subjects... and hope this doesnt bother you im a youngster... im 20...

We are all young for the most part. If you are wanting to trade or sell frags you will need to post ahead of time what you have or what you are looking for and make arangements. We all pretty much traded among eachother so long we dont do it as much anymore cause we all have alot of the same stuff now. When we get together we pretty much hang out, discuss and look at the reef tank of the members house who is hosting. eat some good food, and discuss club issues or topics of interest

Not a problem at all we've had a few people that attend both clubs.

We haven't posted our next meeting yet. It will probably be the middle of July.

I am also interesting in joining the club.. When is the Aug meeting and where?
I live in Chattanooga. I have been in the hobby for a little over a year. I am interested in growing SPS.
At present, I have the following equipment: 50-gal tank (36"x18"x18"), MRC 36" reef sump, CPR over-flow, mag 7 return pump, Octopus reef skimmer, 250w 20k metal halide lamp, 2 tunze turbobelle nano 6025, 1 koralia 3.

1.well we are working on a late oct meeting
2.when it will be at a members house most of the time
3.no she doesnt need to pay dues unless she wants to become a member.

3. It is only 5 dollars more for a family membership, 20.00 for single and 25.00 for family so you may want to do that. But if you dont want to she doesnt have to pay.

I usually tell people to come to a few meetings before joining, make sure it is something you like. You can come to meetings no matter what, if you choose to join in group buys or raffles you will need to be a member
