After being in this hobby for over a decade I finally pulled the trigger on a MI and picked it up Friday!

Got it from another reefer that had it for a few months.

So far eating a mix of 3 different pellets, pe mysis, Hikari brine, and Nori. Mega marine angel cubes are on their way.

Looking forward to many many years with this one [emoji106]

I've always loved those fish but never had any luck with them. Sounds like he's doing well. Hope he lasts a long time.

Ya, those zoas are not doing great anyway, as you can see. Never could keep em... lol

It’s always a gamble but I’ve found that if you provide enough food for those that may nip/eat corals one can usually keep such livestock from doing so by satisfying their appetite with a varied diet.

However, that is not always a guarantee.

I have a pair of them (I don’t plan to keep as a pair im just qt’ingthem together)

I have a pretty good success rate but I’m a fish nerd, particularly expert level fish.

Unfortunately, a “good rate” is all relative. My last one lived only 1.5-2 years before a power outage on vacation toasted three tanks full of fish ;(

Those look great, hope they do well.

I’m a fish nerd too and take pride in myself for keeping the “expert” level type livestock and those that you just do not see in the aquarium trade too often.

Now coral on the other hand I am still a noob at...

Mostly agree! They’re hard work but high end coral are more work to me
