hey guys! i see everyone else having their own tank thread, and i think that'd be fun to follow my tank on an individual thread. so for starters heres some picture of some stuff thats happening in my tank! (ill post more when i get home from the hospital. My sis just had her baby!)

so it worked like it should right off the bat. is there any reason to go back and break it in? its been really getting some crap out

One thing worth mentioning Josh, without an ATO keep an eye on water/ salinity levels. Mostly if your jyst pulling really wet skim.

question for the world! what ATO do you use for your sump? I'm having troubling deciding what to do

Since i have some time ill update everyone on what going on in my tank! here recently i purchased a sump, and protein skimmer; and gotten rid of my box filter! That was such a freeing feeling; although the water evaporation has been a struggle haha. In the past several week I've noticed large amounts of growth in my blastos, and my green zoas. They seem to grow bigger and bigger everyday! My candy cane corals that i bought some time ago where quite dying when i bought them, and now their gaining a lot of weight, and even moving. My rock new travels al through my rocks, but never disturbs any corals, and my acans have put on 4 needs heads this month. Something i thought was most beautiful was my torch coral sprouted a new hour from the bottom of his stalk. its maybe half in inch big and soon cute Ill post some pictures soon!

Lets talk about levels...
to be quite honest i don't check them often enough. How often do you guys?
Ive been using red sea, and i have such a hard time reading ph!!! what do you guys use for ph?

anybody have a kessil controller for sale?

corals-
i have maybe 75$ to throw down on some coral if anyone has something festive

fish- same applies to a large colorful fish^

Josh, I recommend the jbj ato, easy on the wallet and I've never had any issues with mine.

a gsp is a wonderful first addition! sounds like a good move to me I really love that prism favia; most don't have that amount of color
