Josh's almost 45g

when i woke up and checked the tank this morning my Cinnamon clown had developed a swollen eye and a sort of film over it also the same thing on one side of his mouth, the same side, nothing has been added or changed recently could this just be a fight? Or he bumped into something while sleeping? He seems fine eating and swimming as usual. Any ideas? Thanks guys :) @Humblefish

One eye or both? Post a pic if you can.

Just one eye I tried getting a decent pic with the phone and just couldn't sorry, and moms borrowing the cannon it seems better today tho like the eye isn't as swollen thanks for any advice I know its difficult without pictures

Gonna see if I can get him in the hospital tank without tearing my tank apart to catch him might be able to get a picture that way

Was just inspecting the fish and seems like the film is going away only half of what was there yesterday is left so I'm gonna hold off on hospital and see if he can beat this I feel like maybe he bumped into something poor little dude

One eye usually just denotes injury. You can help relieve the swelling by dosing Epson salt @ 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water. Epsom salt is just magnesium sulfate, so it is reef safe.

Perfect thank you so much I'm glad I can provide him with a little relief the white film has almost completely subsided but he has a slight injury on the side of his mouth so I think maybe a fight

Cinnamon clown is back to normal and her injuries have healed so yay! Also seems like my echinata finally pulled through got feeder tentacles growing back in I had to take it to a lfs and band saw the dead off but its doing great now luckily I have an awesome LFS saltwater junkies if your in az ;)
