I was not a fan of the flat pack stand that goes with the C-Vue 40, so I built my own:

I finally got around to setting the tank on the stand and hooking up the equipment on November 5th.

I was finally able to add water and live sand a couple of days later on November 7th.

A couple days later I added a piece of cured Fiji Rock, 5 blue leg hermit crabs, and started dosing the Aquavitro Seed product: https://www.aquavitro.com/seed.php

After watching a complete cycle via dialy testing with Redsea test kits, I picked up a small softy rock, 3 Trochus snails, and a pair of Allard's Clownfish from my LFS: https://www.facebook.com/pg/thereefindy/posts/?ref=page_internal

And, yes you can see the diatoms starting out, but they're starting to fade already.
