Jourdy's 90 Gallon Mixed Reef

May wanna chat with randy or I know TJ's Reef has started this method because he couldn't keep up with his alk use.

Hi again,

Just an update.

I have sold my previous rockscape filled with zoas. Now have a new set of rocks, but I am still trying to find a way to attach the corals I have. At the moment I am stuck because I ran out of coral putty to glue the corals to the rocks, but here are some shots of some of the SPS:

All the SPS seem to have lightened in color except for this:

When I got it last month it was just collected from the wild. It has darkened in my tank hahaha.

Got 2 new frags

awesome system, individual corals and design. I have a question! where did you get that light mounting structure/bar? I've looked for a year for a satisfactory ( to my eye) mounting design that looks good, YOURS rings the bell! Jasper

Thanks guys!

@JasPR, I had it made by a guy here in the Philippines. His name is Design & Reef. Your tank looks so ******! That would absolutely look awesome when corals have grown out.

@khuran, yours is also another great upcoming tank. Same specs as my tank but you have more updated equipment haha.

I haven't been home for 1.5 weeks, so I promise to post more pictures when I manage to take some. My scape currently looks empty because it is new. I replaced most of the established rock and corals for a new structure base. Kinda thinking my old scape was better... but gonna wait for the corals to fill out the rocks.

Thanks so much Jourdy-- so the quest continues here in NY/NJ ! best of luck with your system ( although it looks like luck has nothing to so with it! Pure SKILLS)

As promised, here are a few more photos I took earlier today:

My yellow cloves are invading my tank. Luckily they've been secluded to a corner so far.. but they grow really fast!

Here's a clam that was placed a bit too near some cloves (before transferring it)

Since I sold my huge rockscape a couple of weeks ago, I decided to replace it with ceramic rocks. Im experiencing diatom bloom because of it, but should be gone in a week or so.

Starting again with small frags and will wait for them to fill out every inch of this ceramic rock.
I pressed a few frags a bit too hard, resulting in some really stressed out frags. This is really tiring! And time seems to move so much faster when you're fixing your coral placement LOL.

Tank right now is a big mess. Just attaching whatever on any space I see. Hahaha.

Some close ups of the frags I've put. Will update once the zoas have multiplied and covered the rocks.

So that's what I've been doing lately with my tank.
I am missing the old rockscape and encrusted corals, but that one quickly maxed out on space. Everything grew too quickly and I get bored when there's not much to tinker/expect anymore.

Thanks for viewing!

Oh my God. How beautiful.
How many components of daily doses Baling you?

Your tank looks fantastic! :)

How are you pulling off those sps colors with the radions! I just can't pull it off.. :(
