28" what are you 5'5"? I'm 6' I made my new stand 37" so I don't have to bend down to look in. We all love just lookin into the tank, but I don't want back problems from it!

I'll bust out a stepstool if I need to reach the bottom!

Extactly! So is my 65 gal! Like I said I'm 6ft so I want to be able to look in my tank easily. My 38Gal is on a 32" stand and I have to bend to look in that or sit in a chair. Honestly it's your tank so you make the call! Personally, I like a higher tank. Not trying to be a ***** here!

I was gonna do a 45" stand for my 65 but was worried about stabilty. I tested the 37" by laying on it and rocking back and forth. I had no side to side movement so it will definately hold the tank.

Then we'll make a 60" stand.... she can jump if she wants to see it!!!!

WE all know the tank isn't for them, I was just lookin out for you! 30" is good I think I had 4 2x4's left over. Should be just enough. I don't know how long I'll be out 2maro, I'll see if I can get it started when I get home. I'm painting mine now so, I try and get the cuts done before little man goes to bed. I'll get it all set so you just have to screw it together.
