Hi Guys,

I have Jumbo Ocellaris Clown (3 inch) Paired with Darwin Clownfish (2.25 inch). I've been trying to get them to spawn but no luck. In the past, I had the same pair that would spawn every 2 weeks but these guys I have no luck. Any suggestions?

I always start with a lot of feeding. Live foods are the best, but frozen fresh foods are a good alternative. They need to have healthy foods to get their reproductive system charged up.
When you want your clownfish to breed, you need to feed them. A lot. Like 3 or 4 times a day. Reef Nutrition Live Rotifers and other Reef Nutrition foods are great, LRS Reef Frenzy is awesome. Keep feeding them until they get fat.

thanks mate...I currently use LRS Reef Frenzy, pellets, and raw shrimp with garlic.

I usually feed 4x/day. Got these guys about a month now. I have another pair, same kind paired that spawns every 2 weeks. So I am a bit confused. Also the female is scared and stays in one corner of the tank along with the male darwin.

Sometimes when you change the tank that the fish are in it takes a while to start spawning again

I finally got them to start spawning again, I added shrimp by itself in addition to my current feeding regimen and now
its finally working. :))))
