I'm putting the jumpguard together tonight and I've found these unexplainable pieces. It's not in the manual. It's not in any videos I found. Anyone have any idea what these little pieces are for?!?

I should mention I got the large one w the centre brace

I think it's for connecting the center brace if I remember correctly.

I don't know. That's what I was thinking but the centre brace is a hollow bar that gets fitted over the 2 black protruding plastic parts shown in this pic. Don't see where the little black square pieces would fit in?

So I made my lid in 2 pieces for easy access. I used 2 kits. I didn't end up using the little square pieces and it looks great!
Thx for your input dbl :)

Well I wasn't any help but they turned out great. Nice work.

I have the DD Jumpguard too.
I bought 2 kits and made my top in 2 pieces as well.
I also used center braces on both pieces.
I have no idea what those little square pieces, but I doubt you really need them.

I see corner, centerbrace and end tab in pics

did your frame get distorted when you put the mesh in? 1st piece was just a simple rectangle. No issues there. 2nd piece has a cutout and I had to pull the frame right to prevent bunching. Finally got the thing done, go to put it on the tank, and realize it's been severely distorted and won't fit anymore. What gives? Also, any issues w rusting at the cut points? I'm considering putting silicone on the joint pieces so cover the raw metal.

I only had rectangles with no cutouts, so it stayed true to form.

I do have some bubbling in the paint near the cuts

Hey if either of you still have those t pieces, I would love to buy 2 of them. All the us stores are out of order or want like 40 bucks for them shipped.
