Just got married back in July and needless to say the new wife loves fish.... so after being out of the art of creating your own ocean for a while we have decided to jump back in. We acquired a small 16 gal at a LFS that was going to tear it down cause it was in the way of a 220 gal display tank so I decided it would be a perfect choice for a starter tank to make sure she really wanted to go this route. I had a 48 gal salt tank for several years and really enjoyed every thing except the water changes. I swore if I ever had the chance I would go to a minimum of 120 gal and would spare no expense to do it right and looks like we have that opportunity. The problem I have off the gitgo is its going to have to be set up in a sunroom which of course has windows on three sides. BIG WINDOWS... any ideas... I'm thinking we will have to tint them on the E/W sides and close the blinds on the south side... any feedback would be helpful and we will be doing fish and coral.
