Jumping Clowns?

My two goby jumped out of their tank last night, I found them shriveled up on the floor. I had a lid on too.. There was such a small space for them to jump through I guess I overlooked it.

Now, I am looking to buy two clowns instead, do they jump? Any experiences?

I have had one for 22 years and one for 6 years and they never jumped. Only put a screen on recently for my wrasse

Yes they do. I have had two jumpers. It's more likely if they are chasing one another.

I had the same prob with one clown.
1” gap.

I had just taken him out of a pico with no lid after 2.5 years.

22 years now that's impressive! Heck, even 6 impresses me!

Ive lost a clown to jumping, so i say get a lid. I wont own a tank without one now.
