I'm getting ready to start my journey into a reef pi controller. I have a pi zero w on the way. My plan is to build onto it a little at a tiny. So far, I'm wondering if my choice for ph probe will work to start off?

And I'm running I'd also need this item too?

I know absolutely zero about a raspberry pi, so i think this is going to be a fun journey.

That ph probe will not work. A marine compatible probe is built differently, and the circuit that support it’s also needs extra frills (galvanic isolation ). Finally reef_pi only works with ezo or reef-pi opensource -h circuit (Software specifics )

That circuit won't work, it's not isolated so will only work in a cup of water and I don't think reef-pi can read it's output. The probe is also low quality, you should look for a double junction probe, they start at around $50. If it doesn't say double junction it's like not.

You can only use the Atlas circuit, there's another floating around the forum but not sure anyone has it or I have one that works like the Atlas circuit so it's compatible and fully isolated.
