Sitting here at the show with my daughter and she's not even totally into it. I keep thinking how I'm missing this meeting and how the money I'm spending could be used on my new tank...lol

1pm – Doors open

1:15pm – RS to kick off the meeting.

Welcome everyone and thank them for attending

Kevan helped in designing the overflow. He spent many hours drawing up the prototypes in 3D. Was there during the initial testing.

Invisible in the tank and quiet were the goals

Magnetic overflow weir for cleaning - Ceramic ferrite anti corrosive magnets used on the wier.

Each one comes with a template to drill the glass

Full syphon, partial syphon, and an emergency

Recommended a gate valve not a ball valve for the full syphon line.

Customer needs to purchase internal plumbing parts.

General:

Industrial line prototype will be high end PMG Ultra Marine grade acrylic in white and black. PVC is used in most industrial applications, but is a lower quality material than PMG Ultra Marine Grade acrylic.

Eurobrace all sumps for structural integrity

Plex G type acrylic used. High quality North American made material.

Bulkheads are made in the USA

Thumbscrews are made in the USA

Only use materials manufactured in North America.


Main focus is the standard line. Taking on limited custom orders from preferred installers.

    • Is 3 or more meetings sufficient?

    • 6 month probation for new members

    • Have to attend at least one meeting outside of a LFS

  • Club equipment, ask for members to return any club equipment and announce that we're not loaning out equipment until all is returned.
Bring test equipment to meetings in the future for people to test their water
