Love how these guys look but can't tell if they're Anthias or not...if so, I know they're care requirements are a little beyond what I can provide in this particular tank ATM...does anyone have an ID?

The yellow ones I'm just really not sure about...do you guys know or can you give me a little info to go by? Screenshot_2022-08-19-18-08-23-695_com.facebook.katana.jpg Screenshot_2022-08-19-18-07-06-613_com.facebook.katana.jpg

Top look like wrasses and bottom, blennies

Any idea as to what species they may belong to? I was thinking about getting them and the languages kinda distort names sometimes...I'd prefer to hear it in English

Possible red possum and may be yellow assessor basslet
Hold midas, canary or fox blenny

Them? The top ones will kill each other. They look to be in the Pseudocheilinus family. Very aggressive to other wrasse and sometimes other fish or inverts. Pseudocheilinus evanidus maybe.

The yellow ones look like tilefish. Hoplolatilus luteus. Needs a tight fitting lid.

Well I'm certainly glad you mentioned that haha

For the life of me I can't figure out why someone uses a soup spoon to display fish. Is this lunch?
I have absolutely no idea either! But that's what they do here! I think it may be to show size...

yes but colors can fade over time
Colors aren't everything...the reason I have to come on here and ask about species so much is because particularly this one seller who gets in some pretty cool livestock on a regular basis simply posts the pics on FB with no name or anything. I doubt he really knows much about them at all...I don't like buying a fish without knowing what I'm getting into so I try my best to at least find out the name.
