Hello everyone,

I have a few questions so bare with me. I'm still new and its been a big learning curve. I have a 90 gallon tank I'm in the process of setting up. I have a question about heaters and wave makers.

First the heaters:
I worry about cooking the fish.
Would two 150w or one 250w/300w be more sufficient?

Wavemakers:
I plan on getting a neptune system sometime this year. So I plan on getting a wireless ecotech.

Would two MP10s or one MP40 be enough? Right now I have the hydor 2450 and its causing a pretty food sandstorm in my tank [emoji24]

Thanks in advance everyone!

I have a 90g and for heaters, 2 150W is the best route. This way if one malfunctions on the cold side, at least the other will keep the tank from freezing. If your home is routinely at 65°F or lower in the winter, consider 2 200W heaters. If your Neptune is controlling them overheating the tank shouldn't be an issue.
2 powerheads is almost always better than one for better random flow and fewer dead spots. 2 MP10s will work for a low flow tank, but if you plan on SPS, 2 MP40s with a controller would probsbly be better.
