Just a general question about the Probiotic reef salt

I'm thinking about switching to Aquaforest and can't make my mind up on either the reef or Probiotic. Someone told me that I have to use the Probiotic by a certain time period or it will turn into just the reef salt. My question is is that a true statement and if so are they referring to once I open the bucket I have to use the whole thing of salt in that time period or they just meaning once I mix it with RO water I have only a certain time period I can use the mixed saltwater?

Once you mix it then 24 hour time frame or the amino and vitamin will start degrading.

So it will ok to just mix what I need and use it within the 24 hours and the remaining salt in the bucket will still be good up to the next time I do my water change?

Yup, you are good. I think a lot people dont get that the vitamin and amino acids are in lyophilised state. So, unless you make solution they are fine for comparatively long run. But if you keep that salt for years and hope they will be fine then its a overestimation.
