Yes it has been an ongoing battle to get it to look good. About 2 years in the making. Had a bad crash last year and restarted everything unfortunately. Angel has a good home to come when he out grows me. I definitely made sure of that before committing to it.Welcome! Don't be afraid to ask questions if you're new to reefing. We're pretty good at helping and keeping things positive. I like your rock work! I think you have the start to a really nice looking tank, but a few things I wanted to point out to consider since you're asking for feed back:
You might want to raise those kessils a little. They are not the brightest light out there and they look like they're spotlighting a little. You may want to raise them to get a better spread.
That's a nice angel, but they get big, so hopefully you have a backup plan when he gets big!
How's your flow? I noticed the 1 power head on the right, but can't make out what's on the left.
LFS here in El Paso, TX is where I've gotten all my rock. Would need to upgrade the lights before I even think about LPS. My wife and I actually like the softies because of the amount of movement they have. So peaceful to watch.Very nice peninsula setup. I like how you have the rockwork; where did you get your rocks?
Nice collection of softies. Love the angel although it would make adding lps corals a risky proposition.
I wish. I could do so much more with the added space of a 300 Haha. That’s is nice. That 75 looks like a 300 to me. Good use of the rock work
Some of those softies like more light than a lot of LPS. If the softies are growing, then most LPS do just fine in low light and probably more so than the softies, so if things are growing, try some LPS.LFS here in El Paso, TX is where I've gotten all my rock. Ah. Ok. I think I got it backwards and I'm thinking SPS. My badSome of those softies like more light than a lot of LPS. If the softies are growing, then most LPS do just fine in low light and probably more so than the softies, so if things are growing, try some LPS.
