Just showing off my beautiful little dude. Almost 3 months in and a very stressful 450 mile move in the back of a U-Haul later, it still has both anemones and made it’s first appearance since the move tonight. Needless to say, I am so happy!

I love these guys! Here's my little dude. He hasn't had to endure a journey like yours though. Glad yours made it! How did you keep the tank heated and aerated during a drive like that?

Our move was from Florida to Georgia, so keeping things warm wasn’t so much of an issue as keeping things cool.

I got really lucky. I decided that since online sellers ship coral, fish, and inverts overnight in little plastic bags, if I transported everything in the 5-gallon buckets I use for water changes, things would have a good chance of making it.

Turns out, my theory proved accurate in my case. I didn’t have any casualties that I know of and I also got to keep a decent amount of old tank water, so refilling was just like a 25-30% water change rather than 90%. Total, everybody was in buckets for about 24 hours.

What a coincidence! I just saw mine last night for the first time in several weeks. It's always a treat when I get to see the little tank cheerleader. Definitely one of my favorite creatures in the tank!

Im going to try to get some better photos the next time I see it out, but one of my Pom poms has a clutch of eggs!
