Hello everyone! I just added a bunch of different Zoa's to my 215 gallon to build a nice garden. What corals should I be adding next? I would like corals that would not grow like wildfire. I was really interested in getting a Monti that could grow like a plate on one of my rocks I scaped into a shelf, or maybe a Goni? I also would love to add some torch corals, but my tank is very young, just hit 1 month of completing its cycle and without some Coraline algae growing, I am a little nervous to add them. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the current stock of corals I have in the tank:

Seduction Zoa
Illuminati Zoa
Rasta Zoa
Fruit Loop Zoa
Halle Berry Zoa
Phoenix Fire Zoa
Black Stinger Zoa
Utter Chaos Zoa
Magician Zoa
Helter Skelter Zoa
Purple Monster Zoa
Frozen Tundra Zoa
Pornstar Zoa
Pixie Dust Zoa
AOI Zoa
Devil's Armor Zoa

Thanks everyone!

show us what your aqua scape/rock work looks like so we have an idea of what could work for you. it will be somewhat of a limited list due to your tank being very new… LPS/SPS need a more established bio diversity and of course stability to thrive(with the help of proper lighting!). currently your best bet is sticking to softies and very forgiving LPS!

Hello,

With the tank being so new you have started with great choices in Zoa's. You will want to stay in the soft range for a but of time until your tank starts to mature. the general rule of thumb is soft,LPS then SPS. Mushrooms are a fantastic add to a reef along with Cloves to give some nice movement

Here are the pics everyone! Sorry for the blue light and I have a bit of biofilm breakout from an overdose of fritz turbo start when I first started the tank. The left piece of rock I would like to fill up with SPS and a mix of LPS, the piece right next to that is my Zoa garden. The 3rd piece is where I want to put a giant clam or anemone, and finally the 4th piece I want to put montipora on the bottom shelf area and grow out like plates with a nice mix of torches and LPS above it towards the top. Hope this helps!
