I bought a Red Sea Reefer 425XL over a month ago and it is finally cycling after a few inconveniences. The plan is for mainly sps and bare bottom.

After almost 6 weeks of waiting for the cycle to complete, please welcome the first resident of the tank. I am also planning on taking it really slow to build up the bacteria and establish a stable tank before I move over all of my Acropora from my 20g.

So a lot has happened since February 2019 but the tank is still up and running. A few hair algae breakouts and a rogue emerald crab later, everything seems to finally be hitting its stride.
