I'm pretty sure the tank I used this on was fine, and it's been 3 weeks since it's even been used, but in the off chance a parasite was present I want to make sure I'm cleaning it well enough.

I have a siphon that is similar to this picture. I filled a bucket up with diluted bleach in water, separated the hose from the siphon, and soaked it. I'm going to rinse it and dry it for a day in the sun. I'm sure a few drops of water may still be present after this, and this was what I'm trying to address. Is it safe to use this after these steps?

Ideally, you want it to be totally dry before using it again. You can use a small fan to speed the process some if that helps, but I wouldn't use it until it has dried completely.
