I hadn't thought of doing a build thread. Thanks. I'll be sure to do that.Welcome to R2R! Here you’ll find people who are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Hopefully you’ll start a build thread so we can see your build as it progresses.
Just Bought 40G Setup
Purchased my setup from Aquatic Treasures here in Las Vegas, NV. Waiting for delivery and then the setup. Glad to find this forum and looking forward to getting ideas and support in this project.

Thank you for your very helpful suggestions. I will start a build thread soon and (figure out how to) link it to my account.Welcome! Glad you joined.
Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). Its never too early, and now is a great time to even document where you will be placing tank and your future plans.
This might help you find people local to you in Las Vegas:

Thank you for your post. Nice to know someone here from Las Vegas. When you buy frags online, do you pre-dip them? Then you have to 'glue' them to a rock. Not sure about this. . .yet.Welcome to the club neighbor! If you need help or supplies let me know. When you are ready maybe I can give you some coral frags. I like Aquatic Treasures, it has been awhile since I have shopped there. I mainly buy online to avoid driving, I hate driving in this city because of all the drunks on the road. Good luck with your build, you can't find any better help than Reef2Reef.
I don't, they say you should. But I do acclimate them and during that time I will inspect the coral with magnifying glass and scrape off anything that moves. I cut the coral off the plug and either glue it to a new plug or directly to a rock.Thank you for your post. Nice to know someone here from Las Vegas. When you buy frags online, do you pre-dip them?
