Just bought KZ coral snow...

So I just purchased KZ coral snow from an online retailer should be here by next weekend. I was told that this might help my particles in suspension problem in my tank. I don't expect it to make it crystal clear but am hoping this product helps a little bit. Any tips for using it? Should I shut the skimmer down when using it? this is for a 180gallon tank.

Keep the skimmer running so if can pull the particles out

No basically what it does is bind stuff in your water column to get pulled out by your skimmer, so leave it on.
