What are you using to dose? Brs 2 part is what I use. They have a calculator on their website if that's what you are going to use.

It will depend on what supplement you are using, and how much you want to raise those parameters. Here is a calculator to help you: http://reef.diesyst.com/chemcalc/chemcalc.html

Both are lowish, but not anything to worry too much about...I would raise Ca to about 400 and Mg to 1200ppm...my opinion of course.

am using nyos calcium and kh. read that u shudnt increase more than 100 mag and 50 cal per day??

regarding on dosing 2 part. example. if i get my calcium back to 420 mag 1350 n kh 8.2 . i'll have to set the same dosage for both kh n cal(as in 20 ml of kh n 20ml of cal) daily in the long run ? does 2 part work like that?

If im understanding your questions correctly then you dose 20ml of dkh and cal? It really depends on how much your tank is using I have 200+ gallons of water with mostly sps corals. So with 2 part, I dose 70-100ml. Really can't remember, I use a doser for this and haven't touched it in a long time. with 2 part you use this calculator. find out how much you tank consumes every day then use the calculator to find how much you should dose.

does this answer your question?
