Just found an urchin. o.0

Never had one of these guys before so I really hope he's a good one.

The long skinny bits are waving around like antennae. He is sitting in the bottom of a small Dixie cup. Overall he's about the size of a dime, and obviously not round. I found him sitting on my rock when I was trying to glue it together to keep any more falls from happening. Any ideas on what he might be?

Probably a young one. they seem to be a bit flatter as juveniles.

Those "antennae" are modified tube-feet, more sensory than locomotive.

Might need to let it grow a bit for a solid ID. I've gotten 3 longspine black and a shortspine as hitchhikers. Be prepared to have them redecorate your tank when they get larger!
