looked on you tube one person mentioned vermitid snails, haven’t seen anything but i don’t know what i’m looking for

Not sure where vermetid snails came from.....maybe a sponge of some type? Tell us a little about your tank. How old is it? What are your parameters like? What kind of setup do you have?

I think it could be a sponge of some sort. Especially if it came from live rock. Did you LFS tell you what your parameters were? Not trying to say anything is wrong, just saying a week old tank usually shouldn’t be housing any livestock. How long have the clowns been in there?

3 days on the clown, stuff looks like what saw on you tube, a snail called vermetid generates that web looking stuff to eat

Hi,

If you started with live rock you’re gonna see a ton of new stuff. Some good, some bad. Mostly good. That is the great part about new tanks and live rock. Watch it at night in low light to see what moves around. It’s always cool. My rock is 11+ years old. I stare at night sometimes hoping to see something new, but not any more. Post pics as you see stuff.
